Mouska

I founded Elements of Math to help students transition to online learning when schools became virtual. I realized access to a tutor from the comfort of home makes learning more accessible and effective.

My goal is to inspire learning minds, help them realize their potential and gain confidence in their abilities!

I hold a master’s degree in cell biology and my teaching experience spans 10 years of tutoring and 6 years of teaching at the high school and undergraduate level. My love for science and learning culminated into creating EM to foster the same love and curiosity in our wonderful students. My life motto is to never stop learning.

Noemi

I hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English Literature from the City College of New York. I specialize in teaching high school English (Grades 9–12), including Pre-AP and AP English Seminar, as well as SAT preparation. In addition to teaching and tutoring, I am an adjunct lecturer at City Tech, where I teach Freshman Composition I & II and co-requisite writing courses. My approach focuses on building strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills tailored to each student’s needs.

Nahrain

I am a master’s student studying Biomedical Sciences. I love teaching and interacting with students of all ages. I have been working at UofT teaching professional students Human Anatomy in cadaver labs for three years. What makes me a great tutor is my absolute conviction in my students. I teach with patience and encouragement and re-frame problems to enable students to independently solve them.
